The purpose of our swim team is to foster fun competitive youth swimming and to provide instruction in stroke swimming skills. This is accomplished in a supportive atmosphere with good sportsmanship that is conducive to proper social and physical development of our youth. We want each child to develop his/her physical and mental stamina while setting their own personal goals and finding out how to reach those goals.
Requirement: Your swimmer must be able to swim across the length of the pool!
Starts Tuesday May 26th and goes through Friday July 17th

I want to begin by thanking you for your patience and graciousness this summer as we have encountered unexpected difficulties with our team’s home pool. Amsler Aquatic Center has been championing our swim team’s efforts from the start and we appreciate the changes they are implementing to help our team reach new levels of success.
Today I was informed that the pool’s repairs and upgrades will be completed in time for them to open June 13th. I have spent the day assessing alternative options, and although I am grateful for the hospitality Waco’s swim community has extended to us, I have made the decision to remain with Amsler for our practices and meets. I truly believe this is what’s best for our team. Because of that decision, our summer dates will be altered. We will temporarily cease swim team practices and resume June 13th. The season will be extended to July 18th in order to still provide the full 8 week team experience.
I am sorry for the challenging start to our season and thank you again for your graciousness as we navigate this.
