Emily has worked as a trainer and a coach for almost 20 years. She has been involved in swimming and summer leagues since 1995. This is Emily’s 2nd year as a head coach and has enjoyed every minute of helping her own kids as well as others enjoy the art of swimming well and proficiently. She has taught countless private lessons every summer since she was 15. Training young swimmers is something she has always enjoyed and grown very passionate about. She was blessed to have incredible coaches and personal trainers in her life and wants to share those skills with everyone she can.
Adalyn is 15 years old and will be entering her sophomore year of high school this fall. She enjoys science and reading, along with creative interests such as baking and crocheting. She is also very active in sports, specifically soccer and track, where she competes in hurdles.
In addition to her academic and athletic pursuits, Adalyn has a strong passion for working with children. This past year, she gained valuable experience teaching preschool, and she consistently coaches soccer during the fall and spring seasons. She is a dedicated individual who loves sports and mentoring kids, and she is very much looking forward to a summer full of swimming and fun activities.
Danielle has a background in Early Childhood and Psychology and passionate about creating opportunities for children to thrive. Danielle has always loved swimming, and now, as an educator, she believes swimming is a vital lifelong skill every child should master. Danielle is dedicated to building a strong community of volunteers to support our swimmers. She and her husband, Jamie, have three daughters, who all love swimming, too!
Hey everyone my name is Madison Bailey, I am a Junior in high school (homeschool student) and I also currently attend MCC as a dual credit student. I did swim lessons for several years when I was younger and participated last year with Barracudas High school swim class. I have coached multiple different classes at Texas Dynasty of various age ranges. Last summer I had the wonderful opportunity to be an assistant coach with Barracudas for the younger kids class. I cannot wait for this season of Barracudas Swim!
My name is Colton Pate and I’m the oldest of four, so I have lots of experience with all ages. We homeschool with Classical Conversations and I’m 14 and heading into 9th grade. I love Jesus, being outside fishing, kayaking, hunting, and fixing up my truck. I’m also a beekeeper and i mow lawns. I’m looking forward to helping the kids swim this summer!
Clara Rodman is entering her senior year of high school as a homeschool student and brings over a decade of competitive swimming experience to the pool and has achieved both State and National qualifying cuts throughout her career.
For the past four years, Clara has also worked as a swim instructor, teaching swim lessons to children of all ages and skill levels. She is passionate about helping young swimmers build confidence, develop strong technique, and enjoy the water in a safe and encouraging environment.
Clara is excited to combine her experience as both an athlete and instructor and is looking forward to a fun, energetic summer of swimming and coaching!
